At the travel agent's

Have you ever booked a holiday at a travel agent's?

Let's imagine we are selling a holiday to someone. We are the travel agents and we have to convince our costumer that we are offering him a great holiday! Shall we start?

We can use a special website http://www.voki.com

> There we can create our own avatar that will be the travel agent. You can record your voice and make you avatar speak English!

> Remember that you have to give information about the holiday destination, such as accomodation, food, excursions, prices and any other details you think are important to have a great holiday!

> Once you have finished post the link of your VOKI as a comment so that we can all listen to you!

Are you ready to start recording? Let's see who's the best travel agent?

If you don't have a VOKI, click on this link to watch a tutorial about how to use it:

As time goes by...

We need more time to have new and effective ideas!

What can we do to protect the environment?

We all want to protect our planet, but we are mostly too busy or too lazy to make big changes that would improve our lifestyle and save the environment.

Here we have 6 simple habits to implement in our everyday life which will make a difference.
  1. Use compact fluorescent light bulbs
It is true that these bulbs are more expensive, but they last much longer and they can save energy and in the long term your electricity bill would be reduced.
  2. Donate
Do you have tons of clothes or things you want to get rid of? You can give them to  someone who needs them.
  3. Turn off your devices
When you do not use a house device, turn it off. For example, if you don't watch TV, turn it off. Turn off the light when you leave a room. It's an easy habit to take up which will help you save a lot of money.
  4. Walk or cycle
Driving is one of the biggest causes of pollution. If you want to use your car, ask yourself: Do I really need my car? You can walk or use your bike if the journey is a short one.
  5. Leaky faucets
Watch leaky faucets, which can cause a significant increase in the the water bill. An average of 120 liters of water can be wasted due to a dripping faucet.
  6. Rainwater
Think of recovering rainwater. It can be reused for watering plants!
