En estas actividades el estudiante está expuesto a la lengua auténtica en oposición al lenguaje adaptado que generalmente se encuentra en los libros de texto tradicionales para la enseñanza de inglés.

Las actividades tienen como objetivo, desarrollar la comprensión auditiva, la lectura, la escritura y la expresión oral, así como también el pensamiento crítico.
